Yûnînî
Yûnînî (Ebü'l-Feth Kutbüddîn Mûsâ b. Muhammed b. Ahmed el-Ba'lebekkî el-Yûnînî) was a historian born in Dımaşk in 640/1242 and who died in 726/1326 ().
He completed his initial education under his father Muhammed, who was one of the renowned Hanbelî scholars and sûfîs of Yûnîn near Ba'lebek; afterwards, he continued his scholarly activities in Ba'lebek, Dımaşk, and Mısır. After the death of his elder brother Ali b. Muhammed, he became the leader of the Hanbelîs in Ba'lebek. In 680/1281, he fought against the Moğollar in Humus in the Memlük army under the command of the Memlük ruler el-Melikü'l-Mansûr Kalavun ().
